Leagile stands for Lean and Agile. A first of its kind event among the B schools in India on Lean Management, an evolving Organizational Excellence tool. Leagile tests the participants in their practical skills and concept clarity in Lean Management and Supply Chain Management.

The initial rounds of event involve a Quiz as well as a case study based on Lean concepts. In the final round of the event on campus, the teams will have to design a Lean production line using product models in a simulated Supply chain environment. The event will be fun to play and will provide edutainment to the participants. The Best Lean and Agile team would emerge victorious by the use of creative insights and sound knowledge of Lean Management and Supply chain.

Event Format

The event would be conducted in three rounds.

Round 1:

The event starts with the initial elimination round of Quiz based on Lean and Supply Chain management concepts. A few teams will move to the next round.

Round 2:

The next round will involve a challenging elimination round where the participants need to come up with solution for a case study on Lean Management. The top 4 teams would be chosen by a panel of competent jury and they would progress to the on-campus battle.

Round 3:

For the exciting final round, the teams will be asked to transform a conventional push production line to a Lean production line by applying the Lean concepts. The participants will be tested on the practical Lean skills and Supply Chain Knowledge in creating a Lean Production Line.

Rules

Students from all B-schools are eligible to participate in the event.
• Each team must comprise of three members.
• Team members need to be from the same B-school.
• There is no limit on the number of entries per university/college.
• A participant cannot be a part of more than one team.
